Russia and the USA signed the memorandum, and the USA largely kept their side of the bargain. Russia broke their promise, they are not a trustworthy negotiating partner and have caused a huge amount of death, suffering and destruction

News from the Netherlands; this friday we ( the Dutch ) are saying goodbye to our F-16's. As in, they're flying for the last and final time over our country. The end of an era. After that, well, who knows... Hope they'll prove to be as valuable to their new owners as they have been to us. Make it count, boys!

Cheers for breaking it down like that, mate. It’s mad important to remember that what’s happening in Ukraine isn’t just some far-off problem—it’s about standing up for what’s right. Saying the U.S. 'got into this war' just isn’t true. Russia started this mess, and the U.S. is helping Ukraine defend itself, which is what any decent country would do.

The money and support aren’t about some dodgy deal; it’s about helping people who are fighting for their lives and their freedom. Calling Zelensky a ‘salesman’ is just nonsense. He’s out there trying to get the help Ukraine needs to survive, and without it, we’re all at risk.

If Trump cuts off support and leaves Ukraine to fend for itself, it’s not just Ukraine that’s in trouble. It sends a message to other dictators that they can just take what they want by force. That’s bad news for everyone.

We’ve got to keep backing Ukraine, not just for them but because it’s the right thing to do. If we let Russia get away with this, it’s only going to make things worse for all of us

The USA committed to defending the Ukraine if the Ukraine gave up its nuclear arsenal. The US is not ´in’ the war. They are supporting Ukraine with weaponry and other goods.

Those figures for Europe do not include the significant contributions from Canada, UK, Japan, Australia, South Korea and Norway who are not part of the EU.
US contribition is actually about 40% over the last 3 years.

I think more people need to say president Zelenskyy. He needs to have his title in front of his name. If we continue to say President Putin, I think it’s important for president Zelenskyy as well.

EU just announced they will not stop supporting Ukraine, no matter what happens in U.S. elections. Atm EU supports Ukraine more and estimated 100 billion dollars if you count all the support.

Thank you Denys for speaking the truth. The suffering of the Ukrainian people is heartbreaking. The bravery of Ukrainians is the most courageous fight for freedom in my lifetime. But to put it in hard terms of the interest of the United States, this war is making Russia weaker and the United States stronger and safer. It will take a decade or more for Russia to recover from this war. Many educated young Russians have fled to the West. Many Russian men of working age have been killed or wounded - these are long term economic losses for Russia. Furthermore, Russia has cut infrastructure spending in favor of military spending. This will make Russia weaker and less threatening in the future. US support of Ukraine also sends the message that dictators like Putin and Hitler won't profit from force and terror over smaller countries.

Trump's comments infuriates me. Asking Ukraine to relinquish territory for peace is madness. It's like the police would tell you to give up a part of your house to squatters that killed your child !!! Indecent and morally corrupt.

You can't avoid US politics right now. I live in Australia and I feel my way of life hangs on the balance due to it.
Your life is going to be even more affected than mine.

This election will influence the entire world and everyone in it. Everyone deserves to speak their mind regardless of whether or not they get a vote.

Also if Putin and Trump would love international voices to stay silent so they can speak their propaganda without challenge, I certainly ain't going to give them what they want.

Remember that the US is obligated to help Ukraine after Ukraine relinquished it´s soviet nuclear weapons. As I see it, the US should be supplying everything and anything Ukraine needs to defend it´s self. For if it does not it would mean that pacts made with the United States of America would mean NOTHING when push comes to shove.
