Will US give Ukraine permission to hit Russia with long-range weapons?

Ukraine's President is at the White House, unveiling his much-vaunted 'victory plan' to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Ahead of that meeting the US President announced more than eight billion dollars of military aid for Ukraine.

It includes the first shipment of precision-guided glide bombs with a longer range than the missiles Kyiv is currently using.

But what Volodymyr Zelenskyy really wants is US permission to use Western-supplied missiles to hit targets deeper in Russia.
