Question, How can i use or can I use soft woods like pine in cutting board projects? Would the resin be good enough or hard enough to cover the wood to make the cutting board good enough?

Hi Sean, I loved this series of tutorials. I will be moving in a month, so this is not the time to begin a new hobby, but it has been a great time to listen to these videos, so I can hit the ground running, once I’ve gotten moved. I remember you saying in one video that you preferred not to seal your wood prior to pouring. I can’t figure out which video that was in. I’ve come back to hear why you don’t pre-seal your wood, because I see many others who do, but they give no explanation other than to reduce bubbles. Can you refer me to the proper video or give me a brief explanation here. I’m guessing it is because you are using properly dried wood and maybe others aren’t. Thanks!!

What should the moisture content be (read) when it’s ready for resin? Thanks. Love the videos! 🤝
