What is an Atom? Chemistry

In this animated lecture, I will teach you the concepts of an atom in chemistry

Q: What is an atom?
Ans: The easiest definition of an atom is "The smallest unit of any substance". All the substances we use are made up of atoms.
For example, table salt is made up of two kinds of atoms like Sodium and Chlorine. Sugar is made up of three different types of atoms like Carbon, Hydrogen and Oxygen.
Thus we, therefore, say that every thing or every matter is made up of atoms. Atom is the building blocks of all matter.

This is an excellent talk, but I would say that it would be a good idea to add the next layer of Quarks and other fundamental forces for a more complete example. It is mentioned in the video that protons, neutrons, and electrons are the smallest 'building block', but I believe protons and neutrons are made of smaller stuff (up and down quarks, strong force and weak force etc.).
