Thor crash-lands on Sakaar, after being cast out of the Bifröst during a battle with Hela, who destroyed his hammer and seeks to rule Asgard. On Sakaar, Thor is captured by Valkyrie and forced into gladiatorial combat. In the arena, he faces the Grandmaster’s champion, who turns out to be the Hulk. Thor loses due to the Grandmaster’s interference against Hulk. Later, Thor awakens in Hulk’s chambers and tries to convince him to escape and help stop Hela. Hulk tells him no, and walks out to fight in the arena. A little later, this scene happens.

I love superheroes with powers that aren't destructive.
Heimdall and his eyes were one of them.

I love how straight forward and real Heimdall is. When Thor asks which door to go through Heimdall isn't even mad or condescending, he's just like "Bro, the big one"

Heimdall "sight" is actually amazingly powerful in the comics. Said to be powerful enough to see and hear as far as creation even more powerful than Odin himself in this regard.

I really wish the writers went with the theory of Heimdall having the soul stone, being connected to the soul stone or knowing the location of the soul stone. It would have put Idris Elba's acting abilities to better use and given Heimdall a better send off than the one he had in Infinity War. Not too mention that before Ragnarok Elba hated the role because of how uncomfortable the costume was and I think as fans we can all agree Heimdall looks better with his Ragnarok dreads and fits. Heimdall is not your average Asgardian and I'm willing to bet he can beat majority of the Avengers except for the big hitters like Thor, Hulk and Wanda.
