I read Phantom of the Opera after I saw the musical and watched the film.
Absolutely loved the book! I have two translations and my favourite of the two is the Penguin Classics edition. Whenever I read it I can hear the music in my mind, and usually have to watch it after reading the book.
Honestly the book does not get enough attention.

I’m so intrigued by Hold Back The Tide simply because the synopsis is so vague but the cover is cool 😂😭

The really nice thing about Crier’s War is that neither of them have a crisis about being attracted to another woman. I gave it four stars, I liked it quite a lot.

Question: Do you enjoy Throne of Glass as much as ACOTAR? I read book one and enjoyed it, but I wasn’t convinced of the ages. I can suspend that, but I want to love it as much as I do the other series. How do you feel about it? (Also, I totally went and downloaded Rhapsodic.😂 And I love Phantom of the Opera but have never read the book.) I read Strange the Dreamer and I loved the first half. But I hated the second half so much I didn’t read the second one. I couldn’t take the literal instalove and complete ignoring of the actual situational issues. I’m interested to see what you think this time.
