Thank you, Miranda. I am getting so much pleasure from your book videos, podcast and Instagram, which I have discovered quite recently. We lived in Marylebone for four years (through 2018) and I share your love of Daunt Books, Persephone, Slightly Foxed, Hampstead Heath, Kew, and all things London. I'd be interested to know your reading routine. Do you have a time each day you set aside? I am inspired by how much reading you and your mum do. Reading during these troubled times has been a balm for me. xx

Regula's cookbook looks wonderful. And I see that it will be published in the U.S. later this year, so I will definitely buy it. I had a birthday in April, so I bought a lot of books. That was a good reason for a quarantine birthday (if no other!). I'm most excited about three Noel Streatfeild children's books that I had never heard of before (Caldicott Place, Apple Bough, The Bell Family) and two books in one by M.F.K. Fisher called Two Towns in Provence. I am looking forward to reading Fisher for the first time.

I love Reese Witherspoons book club. I usually really enjoy her choices so I will definitely be getting this months pick of The Henna Artist. You have a great stack of books there! Great haul!

Hello Miranda - some very interesting titles for April and I hope you enjoy reading them. I have a library book 'The Glovemaker' by Ann Weisgarber on my to be read shelf and have just ordered 'Long Live Great Bardfield: the autobiography of Tirzah Garwood' from Persephone Books. I was especially interested to read her autobiography as she is buried in Copford which is a village near me and I am particularly fond of the work of her husband Eric Ravilious. She was, herself, a talented wood engraver and the endpapers are taken from one of her decorative paper designs although I expect this may be a book you have in your wonderful Persephone collection. Thank you for another enjoyable video and looking forward to seeing you again soon, happy reading and be safe, Teresa 📚

“The Henna Artist” is Reese’s May pick. It sounds very interesting and I am going to order it. I think you might like it as well; however, I am not sure if it has been released in the UK.

I just finished "Untamed". I really think that you will enjoy it. Last night I ordered "The Guest List" and I can't wait to hear your take on it.

You have definitely piqued my interest for The Fall of the House of Byron. It sounds wonderful!

Another lovely video, Miranda. ❤ Just curious, what happened to that one Persephone book? The dust jacket seemed a bit different.. 😅
