The fact that he sang a nearly full length show shows how dedicated he is to the fans. He could cancelled the show but soldiered on for the fans such a beast get strong James the fans need you 🙏

The internet/social media, high price tickets doesn’t help in situations like this. Back in the 90’s only a few people may known 2 songs where skipped. I left the concert a little disappointed knowing the concert was cut short. On the plus side we know Metallica doesn’t lip sync or use any backing vocals.

Despite him feeling under the weather and cutting 2 songs from the planned setlist, the show absolutely kicked ass! Hoping he makes a speedy recovery for the 2nd night in Phoenix!

I was there in the nosebleeds, had no idea what was really going on. I knew he was sick by now but this other perspective and the look on Kirk's face really shows a lot of what was going on for him and the band. Get well soon, James!

Was at the Day 2 reschedule - not nearly as full, but understandably.
It was an amazing set and they added Master of Puppets.
Great show & having seen Metallica ~9 or 10 times and for the 1st time 35 years ago ('88 M.o.R. @ Alpine Valley) it's amazing to see them again now.
