When it comes to the backing vocals, Jason was king.

Jason knew how to harmonise with James on backing vocals. But his "Die!" shouts were monstrous on creeping death. He always delivered.

Jason is missed, but the one song where it really hits that Jason isn't in the band is Creeping Death, damn his vocals made the song way more intense and heavier, specially with that badass scream in the die chant. Also, Seek and Destroy & Whiplash were great with Jason singing, he sounded like Lemmy. His clean vocals where awesome in the ballads, too. Fade To Black, Sanitarium, One.

People here going on about Jason's backing I remember when Jason took over LEAD vocals for the whole show back in 2000? I can't remember exactly, but I think it was the tour with Kid Rock, KoRn, and some others.

Can we stop with the missing Jason? Yes he was great, and his backing vocals were great, but he left the band. Now we have Rob, a really tremendous bassist. His talent is amazing, and who can not love the crab walk?

Nobody can replace Jason’s backing and fronting vocals. I miss Jason. It’s just not the same without him and hasn’t been since he left.
