Until you've fronted a band on guitar and vocals, you have no idea how much work it is. He just rocked the fuck out for the last 2.5 hours at the young age of 60 and made it look easy. He gets all my respect.

Remembering James behind the mic with guitar slung low, looks so strong it's almost as if he's unbreakable. As we all get old, it'll be a sad day one day, hate to think about it. I'm just glad I got to live in the times of Metallica and watch them live many times. The 90's were the best. Still young enough to play fast and album quality, and a great catalog of songs.

I know that look. That's someone trying to fight off a panic/anxiety attack. That's someone telling himself it's okay, he's going to be fine, and whatever else he has to in order to make it off stage so he can catch his breath.

I saw Metallica in Pittsburgh August 2022. They were insane. James was so awesome brought so much energy the entire night, have us everything he had like he was 25. He was so in tune with the crowd to, it was incredible to witness.

That looks more like the onset of an anxiety attack. He's trying to collect himself. That hand through the hair move, then right after putting his hand on his chest. The heavy breathing, tapping his chest. He's stressed out about something.
