Thank you! Apparently our support piece wasn't locked in completely, and the lower spray arm fell over during the wash cycle. It melted on the heating rod during the dry cycle. Had to order a new lower wash arm, but this showed me how to lock it in haha!

The spray arm support had come apart from the glass trap, the spray arm the fell over, and melted. I hadn't put it back together properly when emptying the glass trap. I bought a new arm but was baffled by the support and trap. This is so simple -- I can't thank you enough.
