how about assigning different materials which are assigned to different parts of the object, lets say i have a sphere half yellow half green and i want to assign it another one, couldn't find a way & doesn't work in edit mode this is easy in other apps.

oh the menu only changed a little, you jus t have to click 'Link materials'. cool!

HI is its possible i have the one object with color moving and to two object once the object one reach 1m or less to the two object it will copy the color and then if the object one out of the range the two object back to original color..
