I enjoyed the video, however you should earth the copper pipe.

If the electrical cable becomes damaged inside the copper pipe, from for example a sharp burr left by the cutting process, the copper pipe could become live and cause serious injury or death to anyone that touches it.

As you have glued the copper pipe together, each part will need to be earthed separately or electrically bonded together.

Personally I think the best way of avoiding this is to use low voltage lighting and a transformer.
