I'm new to working with concrete and trying to learn as much as i can, and even i know that mixture was was too wet.

May I ask the staff please if these steps can be used to extend/expand a front porch? I am searching for guides on how to extend my concrete front porch, and I have yet to locate a detailed tutorial.

its not a bad video, but you missed a lot of steps, it would be nice to see lowes make a more in depth guide, like how to make forms, show how to make sure they are atleast reasonably level how to mix concrete properly, how to estimate how much concrete you will need for a given area etc.

Thumbs DOWN.... they did not demonstrate the edging process and you don't use a wood/rubber float for finishing, you need to use a magnesium float in the 1st phase and a steel finishing trowel for final phase, and they broomed it way to early, broom isnt supposed to pull back standing water.

Hello, would this work for any zone? Would a zone that has cold winters need a deeper hole for the gravel or concrete?
