Jesus is our salvation, Jesus took it all for us on the cross. Now in that salvation we have a relationship with the Father through Him. In relationship you grow, change, mature, adjust, and learn. As we take steps, draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. Teach us and show us what we should lay down, what we should pick up. Through His mercy we are taught every day the process of sanctification and through His grace we are given the opportunity to learn and grow and develop in Christ alone. 💛 Great teaching!

AMEN! I was focused too much on works. I thought that if I made an effort to do what God asked me to do and be perfect then God would see how much I try for him. I can try to look like a perfect child of God all I want but if I do not change my heart then all of that means nothing.
