Have you tried beef tongue before? You may need to visit a local farm store to find it, but i promise it's worth it! :)

I'm going to have to find some .. and I'll try a carbon steel pan, with bacon grease .. and see how that works!

My mom used to make meals with beef tongue, liver, and heart. I enjoyed all of it, yes including the oysters. Lol

Congrats on 30 days!!!!🎉🎉🎉 I just made seven mostly clean, just a few spices(taco seasoning). Not sure I can do the tongue but more power to you!!!!

Here in Oregon you have to mortgage your house to buy one! More than ribeye but so worth it! Too bad every animal has only one tongue and one tail! Both ends cost a pretty penny. We always put a splash of vinegar in with the salt.

food sticks to the pan because it hasnt been preheated long enough. its heated when you sprinkle water and the water just kinda glides around easily.

My dad used to make tongue and I love it... I just don't know if it can eat it without mustard 😢

They are easier to peel if you slice the skin down the middle before boiling.

Eating beef tongue is actually pretty common in some parts of Germany.

I love it, but I'm Montana IF you can find it, it's more expensive than tomahawks. Tongue is $25-$35lb. My grandpa was a butcher and as a kid I remember him complaining when it went to $5 in the store. I saw a tongue last time it was in stock and it was $42. SOOOO yeah no more for me, which is sad because my daughter and I would share one.

My first taste of beef tongue was in Japan about 5 years ago. My son introduced it to me and it was amazing.

I've had cow lung once when I was young. Didn't like it so much. This is new to me but already looks a lot tastier, especially how you served it :) Bon appetit.

Haha I've had nose to tail from cow. So yes this is an undervalued part of the cow.
Cheek is another cut that's good.
This is the person I've wanted to see for the longest time.
