I love how Gus drops the smile on his face as soon as Cynthia walks away.

Cynthia was probably a couple minutes away from getting axed in the back of Los Pollos Hermanos. Just noticed there are several bells ringing during this scene. lol.

One detail I haven’t seen anyone mention is that the cousins always speak informally toward Gus as an equal or lesser instead of elder or higher up - which he is, considering he’s boss of the south and they’re just two hitmen regardless of who they’re related to. They never even feign respect or diplomacy. If u know Spanish, the context of their scenes gets more depth beyond just the subtitles due to the inflection in their speech.

I love Gustavos ability to be solidly believable in both his roles as both a meek and polite fast food restaurant manager and when he turns it on- as a scarey drug lord king pin. It made all the scenes with him very compelling to watch.
