With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

A couple years ago I was down in El Paso, and near the border on the American side there is a mountain you can climb up, about 6, 000 feet. I forget the name of it now but I went up it, and from the summit you can look into Mexico. You can actually see the sharp line where everything becomes orange like in this video. It's surreal.

would be funny to think that this is just their fantasy-daydream to escape from listening to the boy and all of a sudden they snap out of it and the guy is still japping but they safely and discreetly arrived in Albuquerque (and the yellow filter is also gone, that was just in their dream) 😂
