I am blown away by your close up macro shots- especially that flower! With previous phones I had a camera attachment that assisted with that. I had been able to capture snowflakes! Since upgrading to the 7 Pro my macro shots come out looking like some weird paper mache art pieces. I'm a nature photographer and have been getting better shots with my last two Pixel phones than my DSLR camera. I just want to get back to my macro photos. Do you have any recommendations why this could be happening? Thank you for sharing this video.

Also try using a microscope app and see how far you can pinch zoom in and see extreme fine detail. Useful for micro soldering electronic repairs especially.

Google Pixels on sale for Prime Day and I was just about to buy the 7 but then I saw this vid. Zoom and macro are AWESOME. I must have this phone and so will scrape a little more cash out of the coffers to get the pro. Thanks for sharing this.

I shoot 7Pro macro but I always use a blue tooth trigger which frees me to change vantage points and to eliminate camera shake.

You never once focused and tried to click on 2x while macro mode.
