Love my 7 pro. Sometimes I lock it and unlock it just to see the cool animation from the fingerprint sensor 🙂

I currently own the current Pixel 7. It has everything I need. I enjoyed your review on the Pixel 7. After hearing your review on the Pixel 7 pro, I feel confident in my selection

Nice job on the Pixel review after 6 months. I have the Pixel 7 pro and I would say the one thing that I'm not so happy with is the battery life. It's okay but for a phone this size with as big as of a battery it has. It's not great. The cameras the voice to text typing is great. The call screening and the call waiting recorder app. These are all they all work great. Use them all the time. That haptic feedback that's also great. I'm thinking or I'm hoping that the pixel 8 gives us much better battery life and standby time.

It has aged well in these last 6 months for sure! Can't wait for the Pixel 8 Pro, not going to lie might upgrade my Pixel 7 for it towards the end of the year.

I appreciate that, I am an avid LG user, I currently have the LG Velvet, which I love! I have had too many friends with so many issues with Samsung so I wouldn't ever choose one for myself. And now that LG no longer makes phones, I was worried about my next step. Now I am feeling better that the Google Pixel Pro will be the next phone for me.
Thank you! :)

I genuinely love my 7 Pro but i wish the battery is better because right now at least in my experience my 7 pro battery sucks it doesn't last me a full day if you care about battery then by all means go for S23 ultra or iphone don't get me wrong its a great phone best phone i have ever held in my hand i specifically love pixel phones for its call features like call screen and hold for me and noise reduction i will continue use the 7 pro until the 8 pro comes out with hopefully even greater battery

I have the obsidian, it's amazing. Got it during a huge sale black Friday and got it pretty cheap, great phone

I bought the Pixel 7 Pro in December 2022 from Amazon. Over time I learned it has noise at the receivers end of a phone call always and all video recordings have a disturbing noise too. The bad thing is that Amazon does not take responsibility and getting warranty from Google is a running around in circles on its website.

As a new Pixel 7 Pro owner definitely a needed upgrade from my 11 pro max, I love how simple but complex this phone is and it's super user friendly.

Just picked up the Pixel 7 pro for around $500 after my One Plus 6T died on me. I am amazed at how much of a difference the Pixel's haptics makes. And for even cheaper than what I got the One Plus 6T at I am very pleased.

Pixel 7 Pro owner: If you need a phone without a flashlight this is the one for you! Was a great phone, one year in and flashlight stops working (says camera in use), common known issue (across various google phone gens) without any proper resolution. Apart from this, phone and battery life is holding well.

I'd like to mention one observation I got from another reviewer and that's the disappointing thermal problems. It does impact on performance such as the screen refresh rate but you're only likely to see it, for example, during periods of extended wifi usage I am not sure anyone one else has noticed this?

So I've had the P7 for 8 months and I like a lot about it. The size is nice, the Tensor 2 SoC runs A13 fluidly and Google's implementation of Android IMO is the best there is. It's a lean smart Android OS and the added Pixel only features are nice. However, the onscreen Fingerprint Sensor and battery life are letdowns. I'm lucky if I get ~70% accuracy with the Fingerprint sensor and yeah there's a limited facial recognition but it's nothing compared to Apple's Face ID so I usually stick with the frustrating fingerprint sensor. Then there's the battery life. After 8 most this allegedly smart phone knows my usage patterns and I've tried all kinds of options to enhance battery life including turning off 90hz display. All Bupkis. I barely get 5 hrs SoT with this phone and it's left me hanging plenty of days. Google is new to SoC designing and it's painfully apparent they haven't mastered battery optimization for their Tensor 2 SoC like Apple has for their Bionic series of chips. Those two critical weaknesses keep me from loving this phone.

If you got this phone from Google, this review is no longer an unbiased review: it's an advertisement imho. Soo, I've stopped at 0:07. 👎

Mentioning Pixels doing the most with calling. I swear Pixels are the only phones I've used where someones voice on the other end is extremely clear. On every other one, voices sound slighly muffed

My experience after 6 months. The Pixel 7 pro suffers from weird Bluetooth bugs. One of them being that it will not connect to previously connected headphones even after rebooting both phone and headphones. The second the sound quality sometimes just chages and is very bad for no reason. A reboot fixes this.
My pixel 7pro also suffers from poor performance like screen will not rotate back to portrait from landscape. Sometimes sound just keeps playing after closing YouTube?? Or sometimes a webpage freezes and you cant do anything but hit the power button.
The " stereo sound" is louder from the spearkers at the bottom vs the earpiece speaker.
Picture quality also seems to be a little inconsistent. Sometimes pictures are just my boggling amazing and sometimes they are just embarrassingly bad.
Reception on the pixel 7 pro is another issue. Its just not good and for 2023 that should not be.
I don't mean to sound negative but I'm just keeping it real. I probably wouldn't recommend this phone. For a lower cost phone I would say One plus and for a flagship probably Samsung.
Update 07/02/23:
The Pixel 7 pro still suffers from Bluetooth connectivity and just any connectivity. It's really frustrating to even pretend that this is a good phone. Last update there's a new battery drain feature and no you can't turn it off. Honestly the only cool -ish feature is the cinematic wallpaper effect. Not sure how well it works and how the battery drain would be.
