Did you know you can repair your garden hose?

So far this season, we've repaired two hoses. One had a run-in with a mower. The next didn't stand a chance with our puppy! 🤪

1. Identify the location of the leak in the hose, which is often found near the connectors or a worn-out spot in the hose.
2. Cut the damaged area of the hose with a utility knife or sharp scissors. Be sure to cut straight and create a clean edge.
3. Use a hose mender, splice kit or coupling to reconnect the two ends of the hose, and secure them tightly with a hose clamp or hose tape.
4. Make sure that the connection is tight and the repair is secure.
5. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If there are still leaks, adjust the connection or try another repair option.
6. Once the leak is successfully repaired, use the hose with care, making sure to avoid any sharp edges or objects that could cause damage in the future.
