Wow. Thank you for the visual aid I have a better understanding. I was just diagnosed with cerebral hypoprofusion. My doctor said it could have been from car accidents

I spend at least an hour at night laying prone with my laptop on the floor, so my head very tilted up to view the screen. I'll also view it occasionally while bent down to view as it sits on my kitchen table, so same back head tilt. Have been doing for years and I'm 60 and oh so dumb. It's def causing tension or soreness, upper back of neck immediately below the lower back edge of the cranium. I'll stop and work to reverse the effect when I feel it's adverse, as my eyes may feel cold and hazy, my brain foggy, not lightheaded so much as blacking out is possible, my upper scalp numb and those hairs will even start to drop out. I have to use the laptop, but it's also my only source of entertainment, hence the draw to continue to do as I do. I've not been able to afford a supportive upholstered chair for afterhours hence I sit and lay on mats on the floor. My kitchen chair sucks too, lol. Finally, I'm seeing this video, all my prior searches showed neck tilted down to view a phone, but this head back position is really bad news. I'm going to work hard to change my ways so will have to find a good chair somehow, or take up reading.... still need the chair... ultimately a desktop set up may work best for level eye to screen viewing.... again an affordability issue. This video is impactful as it shows the actual adverse effect of what I'm doing, the crimping of that important artery. I've gradually become too worried of lasting damage. Appreciate this.

Hello Ed! Love your videos. 10 months ago I started having daily tensión headaches that started with a stiff neck in the mornings. I thought it was all coming from my TMJ, so after a neuromuscular odontologist gave me a retainer to stop my jaw clenching at night, the headaches subside. However, I started having dizziness, vertigo, pain behind the eye, soreness in my jaw, etc. Someone told me it could be trigger points and after watching a lot of your videos, it all made sense. During my whole life (38 years) I've been sitting poorly, sleeping with my face down and have been developing very bad postural habits. I even have forward head posture (6 centimeteres) and cervical kyphosis or 'military neck'. I was wondering, if my symptoms could be coming from my cervical kyphosis, or maybe from the trigger points, or the kyphosis is causing these trigger points in my SCM and scalene muscles. Anyways, I would very much appreciate your advice man, I'm having a lot of trouble trying to live a normal life. Specially because of the daily dizziness and nausea, and I don't know what to do. Thanks again and greetings from Colombia (sorry for my english)
