As is Jon, apparently.

Hello everyone! Today I thought I'd discuss Jon Snow's journey over the most recent #asongoficeandfire novels and what's next for him in the Winds of Winter.

Be sure to subscribe if you enjoyed this video! What do you think? Is there anything I missed? What do you think of #houseofthedragon so far? More #asoiaf content is on the way!

Thank you all for watching! I'll be back with more theories on Sunday. Character art in this video is by TheMico!

What if he comes back to life, stays exactly the same but uses his death as a legal loophole to leave the Night's Watch, becomes king, and has intense boat seggs? That would be really cool and based I think

I really think that Catelyn lost her mind BEFORE she died. In her final chapter, she describes crows flying in her face and clawing deep gashes in her cheeks, which we later learn from Merrett Frey's epilogue were made with her own fingernails. It wasn't resurrection that drove her crazy, it was seeing her son murdered in front of her.

If GRRM makes me wait 13+ years just so he can kill Ghost, he and I are gonna have some problems😤

A bastard of House Targaryen whose mother comes from a house that worships the old gods and who becomes the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch? Welcome back, Lord Bloodraven.

Resurrected Jon will erase all the "Arryn morals" that guided his journey so far. Sadly, Ghost's sacrifice represents this moment.

The resurrected Jon will vigorously pursue his vendetta against his most hated rival and orchestrate the death of Myrcella Baratheon. After everything, he still hates that kid’s guts. Everything else is secondary.

Do u really think Martin is gonna miss the chance to have a Jon chapter as he is in ghost called the ghost. He could be viewing what is happening around the walls pov. It makes so much sense that Jon's ghost will go into ghost

Grrm could do the ultimate troll move by releasing Winds just to keep Jon dead.

He could remain a pov, because his soul would remain safe in Ghost until his resurrection. He would still change, probably will be more wolf like, but I expect he will be more "whole" compared to other undead.

Why you haven’t dropped the Winter is Coming for Darkstar video yet is beyond me…

Now that the Stark Kids are all covered, I think Jon would work as a great transition from the Starks to the Targaryens, which makes Daenerys my personal suggestion for the next video. Well, either her or Young Griff but I don't know if you plan on wrapping up all the POV characters first.

I'm pretty sure that bleeding out for 13 years is not good for one's health.

I've my own theory about the tareryans. Jon and Aegon are both legit targaryens. Dany will know this and pull an Aegon the Conquerer, marrying both. Dany would have 2 brother-husbands

Wait... Storm is older than you? I was in uni when that book came out. I guess I am officially old.

Boy I could totally see a chapter from Ghost's perspective where we see that Satin has picked up Jon's body, has clean it up and is crying over it.

You, like everyone else in Westeros save for the Manderlys, are forgetting one Stark child… Rickon. And before you say ‘but he’s too young and doesn’t have any POVs, it’s because you should be doing Davos Seaworth. Not only does he bring Rickon back into the story, I think it’s grossly overlooked that it’s no accident it was Davos that was told the Azor Ahai/Nissa Nissa legend. I think it will be him that guides Jon into becoming the Prince That Was Promised

I'm excited to see Jon as a messianic figure to those around him - which I think really amplifies the Dune comparisons. For example, I think the "100 hostages" who are the children of wilding chieftans/warriors (and Jon says will be trained in battle) will form the core of his personal fedaykin of warrior-fanatics. I think Davos's son will also worship Jon after his resurrection, and will provide a lot of good Kingly council (as a former cupbearer to Stannis, and stuck at the wall, and a devotee of the lord of light). I'm also excited to see how Satin/Ed/Emmett become lieutenants, etc. I think the song of ice and fire will also involve him being a religious icon of old/red gods followers.

shifting POV is an interesting thought, I know GRRM promised no more new POVs in the series, but several of our characters have changed to an unrecognizable degree, Bran being a three-eyed crow, Arya being a faceless assassin, Sansa being Elaine, and Jon being dead and reborn, it could be interesting to view them (at least for a while) from an outsider's perspective.

I'd love to see Young Griff covered. Great video as always!
