Yes, the super rich people live a life that the 99% of people can only dream about. They often have very high CO2 emissions and wealth isn’t properly distributed. There are people that live under the minimum wage and can barely afford to live while there are other people who just live a hedonistic lifestyle or never have to worry about earning an income or living in general. He’s rich. he admits it. Doesn’t even pretend not to be. But instead of choosing a more comfortable and stable job like idk inheriting his parents’ business, he chose to follow his dreams and work hard for them. Because newsflash, rich people can have dreams of their own other than inheriting wealth lol. Even his own dad was against him choosing this profession because he worried Ricky wouldn’t live a comfortable life. And that’s what makes Ricky admirable despite his privilege because he still chose a different path even when he may not have originally gotten that support from his family. He had the resolve to chase his own dreams at the age of 14 in a different country with a language he didn’t even speak.

He probably had privilege like not having to worry about trainee debt, but that’s just how life is. Unfortunately, there will be people who have it easier. But that doesn’t mean that Ricky doesn’t work hard too.

I really don’t understand the amount of hate he gets just for existing. It’s not his fault he was born rich. The fact he even chose to be an idol despite being rich already says a lot. The guy has also never done a problematic thing. All he does is be himself??
