personal finance was a required class in my highschool and i feel so lucky for that, it was required senior year and our teacher actually help set up investment accounts for whoever was 18 and wanted it. he was awesome

I’m 36, in 6th grade, our math teacher taught us about stocks, we had a contest where we spent the whole school year investing our 10k, every Monday we were allowed to buy/sell. I suppose it was rare to learn about money in school but I am glad I did because that’s how I made it 🤷‍♀️.
