These 10 SUVs have the highest depreciation rate in 5 years. In other words these are the worse 10 SUVs when it comes to resale value. But unarguably these are some of the awesome and high performance SUVs in the market as well. It is amazing to see how the value of these luxury SUVs drop so fast in few years. You can own these SUVs at a highly discounted price if you buy at the right time. For example you can buy most of these luxury SUV under 30K in 5years. Including the brands BMW, Volvo, INFINITI, Audi, Cadillac and Lincoln.
(This list is based on the data from “iSeeCars” research.)

I think that most people who can afford to purchase these vehicles do not have resale value as a priority😂😂!

None want to buy a German car with over 60k mi cause they eat you alive in VERY EXPENSIVE $$ repair costs . Japanese made don’t need most repairs even over 100k mi. Avoid CVT trans in Nissan’s

Invested??? In vehicles that are "guaranteed to depreciate"??? Purchasing any car is not "an investment" (despite what ads call it!!!) but an (expensive) expense! Period. Add the full cost of insurance, maintenance, repairs, parking, "beautifying" etc, etc, and tell me (again!) IF this is an investment.

worst resale value means best value for the next buyers.

A pretty good report, however, somewhere I heard the word "investment" and that is so wrong, no matter what you buy. Buying a car, any car has never been and will never be an "investment"

I have noticed a Lincoln looses a lot of value quickly

It’s important to take excellent care of your vehicle. Especially all maintenance and interior. Then keep your vehicle as long as you can maintain it easily, pick wisely.

These all had many huge issues with very low reliability the most common. People spent too much time in the repair shop to enjoy them.

It would have been helpful if you could provide reasons for such alarming depreciation. Thanks .

No Toyota or Lexus in this list. No wonder they make most reliable vehicles.

if you prioritize tech and driving performance and do not drive more than 10-15K per year, you can consider leasing an Audi, Mercedes or BMW, but if you put a lot of miles on your vehicle as I do and finance rather than lease, plan to keep the vehicle longer than 3 years, then consider a Lexus, Toyota, or US made vehicle. Reliability and durability of the Toyota and Lexus being far superior to those of Ford, Chevy, GMC, Cadillac, resulting in higher resale values.
