I am just now reading the Bible from start to finish. I will soon be 65 years of age. Trying to read slowly to better comprehend what is written. My faith has always been part of my upbringing. Reading Numbers was very interesting how the Tabernacle was perfectly formed. Learning how it took 40 years from Egypt to the promise land. I truly believe reading scripturas' daily has strengthen my faith! Oh Holy God and His Son Jesus who gives me comfort in troubled times. I need my Savior every moment of my life on this earth! The Glorious day when I see my loved ones again in Heaven. Until then I will do my best to listen and be guided by The Holy Spirit! AMEN!

Great explanation. Should be noted though, that God in His mercy did allow Moses into the Promised land. Many years later at Christ's transformation, Moses stood with Jesus & Isaiah as witnesses for the apostles. The prophets, the law & the church/new covenant all together with Jesus to see His face shine like the sun. Praise Jesus.

When someone gets to the level Moses got with God then, someone should be very careful. That sin of disobedience God would have forgiven me but not Moses because of the level he is with the Almighty God... The higher the tougher

The reason why Moses and also Aaron couldn't go over into that Physical promise Land was because when the people was complaining and murmuring about that they had no water Moses misspoke when he said can we fetch you water ? He was talking about Himself and Aaron and then He smote the Rock. It wasn't supposed to be about himself and Aaron it was supposed to be about God period ! God through Moses was doing those Great Miracles not Moses of himself. Moses mistake was when he said we meaning him and his brother instead of what God can do. He failed to lift up God among the people. And that's why Moses couldn't go over into The Promise Land but God let Moses stand on top of the Mountain to see all the things therein. Moses eyes weren't dim nor was it clouded. God let Moses look upon all the the things in The Promise Land. And there wasn't anything thing wrong with Moses even though he was old he still was full of days but like us all we still are on God call. All of our hairs on our heads are all numbered.

I might the only person that felt sorry for Moses because he was tasked with them Israelites and was stressed alot and he didn't get to go to the very place he endured hardship to see. That sucks!
