As a Filipino, I feel the pain. I remember a youtuber from the the PH apply for a US visa just to be a tourist. She was pretty well off, lots of businesses and an influencer. Still got denied because she got nervous in the interview.

I never really experienced this until recently when my Taiwanese boyfriend asked me if I applied for my visa for our Thailand holiday. I was freaking out because I didn’t realise I needed one. Turns out that because I’m Australian I don’t need one and it hit me how lucky I am.

Honestly, I didn't realise how privileged I am just for my passport. Never had to bother with Visas and whatnot - didn't even know they were a thing until my mid-to-late-teens. Still don't really know what they are about

I feel this as a Nigerian. My brother was born in the US so he never had to wake up at 4am just to get to the visa line before 6 and line up for hours.

My grandpa was German and thanks to him I have the German passport. You can't believe how incredibly lucky I feel, specially since I'm from an impoverished country where inflation is getting worse by the day, so knowing that as soon as I finish college I can just gtfo and try anew somewhere else makes me feel very fortunate!! I'll be able to help my mom and best friend that way

I just received my PR (permanent resident) visa a month ago after 3 years of trying. I feel your struggle.

I’m Russian and it makes me so mad when I have to deal with tons of bureaucracy and pay a lot of money just to cross the border of another country. I already gave up my dream about visiting America as a tourist.

My boyfriend and I have this issue 😂 I am a US citizen and he is a South African citizen. It is very frustrating and expensive.

No matter how many places you have been, every time you apply a visa, it is a challenge. Sometimes, they just fail without a reason, even if you prepare everything they ask for.

I soooo want to visit 🇺🇸🗽but it’s impossible to get a visa unless you can prove you have reasons to return back like a regular job, your own apartment etc. and plus lots of money on your bank account 😢
