I feel the "look around and run"

yeah, I still remember that shock when I was visiting Germany as a teenager--they literally, literally stop and not try to take your life away unlike how I was used to! I remember growing up with so much anxiety about crossing the road, so witnessing that civil behavior in Germany was like a whole another planet! I thought that was so amazing.

In Nigeria, the car will hit you and people would blame you for hitting a car. I had tried to cross the road once and got hit by a car. The driver came down and first he did was check the dent on his car before checking if I was okay. I felt quite bad not physically but emotionally

She’s absolutely correct. NEVER assume people will stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk

As a Asian person, I can confirm this is how I reacted when I first came to London

In Bangkok, it's a staredown. You walk one step onto the crosswalk, and you stare into the incoming motorist's soul.

As a South African, I can confirm that the pedestrian crossing is just zebra decoration on the road because we love our wildlife.

In Kuala Lumpur, pedestrian crossings are invisible to drivers.

I remember visiting Vietnam and the tour guide telling us not to wait for cars or motorcycles to ever stop for us, cuz they won’t ever. Just cross whenever you want to, and the vehicles will go around you. Just don’t speed up or slow down so they can predict where you’ll be, and they will swerve right or left to avoid you. It was the most bizarre thing, but it worked!

I like the character development of her German boyfriend from never be in the skit, becoming the cameraman, and now lowkey being inside the skit itself

As an Italian, I have never seen a more relatable video, especially the: "If there is no car, RUN!"

As a Nigerian, I agree. If the car hits you, onlookers would blame you for not looking before crossing. I remember my first time in dubai. It took a while before i started crossing with confidence

In India we don't even need crosswalks we just walk onto the street and we are the king

I spent a year in China. When I came back to Germany, it took me weeks in order to overcome the urge to wait in front of a crosswalk.

As a Vietnamese, I can confirm that we have no crosswalk and we run for our lives and not try to get hit
