Reaction To Could China Invade Australia?

This is my reaction to Could China Invade Australia

In this video I react to a short documentary that looks at the possibility of China invading Australia and whether it is possible or not looking at the Australian military and Australian geography.

My Grandfather was from Glasgow and he joined the SAS and was stationed at the top of Australia as a Lookout and Radio Operator During the War ❤and he lived there with the Aboriginal community in a hut for years. As a Redhead I suppose he stayed in the shade as much as possible 😅

As a Queenslander, I can confirm that invading Cairns is not possible because there are few things worse than living with Queenslanders. Of course those few worse things are the New South Welsh, Victorians, Capital Territorians, and Clive Palmer. Tasmanians don't quite make the cut because there are only two or three of them, and as the Tasmanian in this comment section, @tameelah3839 points out, nobody knows where they are. South Australians are too drunk to make the list, and as for Westralians, they already have enough problems, with Gina up their rear ends trying to extract any iron ore that might be hiding up there.

One thing he hasn't taken into account is that the Singaporean air force trains for about 6 months a year in central QLD.

With the amount of property they've been allowed to buy id say it's already happened just in a more covert way.

Around 1990, retired Chief of Air Force Air Marshal David Evans wrote a paper talking about potential threats to Australian sovereignty. In the paper, talking about a potential threat from Indonesia, he suggested any invasion scenario would not involve storming the beaches in Sydney. He suggested a force could establish a beach head in the north west and would just say, you don’t want us here? Come and remove us then. At that point the Australian forces have the task of deploying with 3-4000 km supply lines, troop and equipment movements and so on. If ‘an enemy’ lands at multiple locations across northern Australia it is unlikely our armed forces are large enough, in both personnel and equipment, to cope with that. A reliance on the U.S. is also problematic. ANZUS gives each signatory an ‘out’ to not get involved if it is not in their interests to do so. To win what they want, they don’t need to raise their flag in Canberra.

G'day. 80 000 against 2 000 000.Sounds like a target rich environment.
I nearly ended up with a delivery job today.A client needs a component for a mining machine. My boss was calculating how to deliver that part (about 250kg) and asked if I would be willing to drive the work ute from North West Queensland to Perth. It's over 3300 km eaach way.

As a bloke from Perth, there's no point invading here there's not enough housing as it is.

Australia’s big, really big. You might think it’s a long way to the nearest Maccas but it’s nothing to how big Australia is. It’s also dry and empty for the most part filled with interesting if deadly wildlife and seriously entertaining temperature differences every day.
Should be easy enough

Invasion by, financial year 2023, it was estimated that 64.32 thousand more Chinese migrated to Australia than emigrated. This marked a significant increase in Chinese net migration compared to 14.72 thousand people in the previous financial year. 😅

Good show. This is a good analysis indeed. I wish you’d do one about the possibility of a war between India and Australia. Thanks

This is where being part of a 56 country commonwealth should come into play.

The presumption here is, China would choose to physically invade as its initial bid to control supplies it currently gets from Oz.

Of course not!

The element of surprise is lost the moment a flotilla enters waters near Indon and/or the Mallaca Straits.

So, in the advent of many hostile harrasments by China forces, air and naval, of Oz air and navy, it must be considered a possible scenario and what to do about it.

Because of this, I asked my sister's niece, they live in the USA, how long did she think Oz would last against an attack by China, (she was in the US army medical unit) and her immediate reply, with no doubt was,
"TWO AND A HALF MINUTES!"
😳😱😥

However, what this 'analysis' does not consider, at all, is China's best tactic to immobilise any major threat while striking fear and chaos into the public, nearly all of which lives in large coastal cities, is to put a missile carrying sub off the coast of each major city (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and strike any naval and airforce bases in each and hit infrastructure; water, electricity, gas and roads etc.

The missiles could all be launched similtaneously and be in stages; stage one take out bases near major cities.

Then ring the PM and demand he surrender.

If he refuses, stage two, electricty.

If PM still refuses, stage three, etc etc

Very quickly, the Oz forces would be all but eliminated, certainly the major hardware and naval forces would be.

Anyway, interesting that my sister's niece knew the answer to my question immediately, "Two and a half minutes!"

This means the US military have already calculated it!!!

It also means, they know China will use a massive first strike missile assault.

Then the ships will come, to 'assist' Australians to the 'new era of China'.

China will control the iron ore production, using free labour, and any other product it needs.

I do not know whether it would stimulate the USA into action?

I fear, depending on who is president, America may choose to keep out of it...😢

Yeah...nah. They could seriously hurt us ofc & we will support Taiwan, so there's that.
Our unique northern OTH radar chain is unknown to most people. It rocks.
This is all just for fun, not a serious analysis. Cheers from Canberra.

News Flash ! I'm an ozzy, and can say with a fair amount of certainty, that a Chinese invasion of Australia is extremely unlikely. For these reasons
1. Australia is not on their agenda right now.
2. If they wanted to, the logistics would be a nightmare ( too far a distance)
3. The Americans have bases here and rotational US marines, along with what Australia itself can muster up, which is formidable land forces. Plus they often land B2 bombers and B1 Lancers along with occasional F 22 Raptors in Queensland. I have suspicion that the Americans have certain Weapons on Australian soil (Against protocol) but I cannot prove it. We also have extensive early warning with Over the Horizon radar, regular AWACS and Poseidon flights, drones, NORFORCE, and the Spy Satellite overflights from the Pentagon. We also have Collin's class subs in unknown locations.
4. The land itself up north is a death trap, with all manner of Fatal animals, plus the weather is enough to kill if not well prepared.
5. We have now Rotational Nuclear armed Submarines visiting mainly Perth WA. From both the US and UK.
6. But the big news is we now have a Defence Treaty as of writing with Indonesia, which means if Attacked the Indonesians get an invitation to the Barbeque and ensuing piss-up !

I don’t think that would happen. China has too much to lose. They enjoy their economy at the moment. This sounds like a joke😂😂😂
