Mainland China is called the People's Republic of China, Taiwan is called the Republic of China, the main ethnic group in the two regions is the Han nationality, and the constitutions of the two regions stipulate that they belong to one China. Then do I need to say anything else?

Depends on what the trigger of that scenario war will be and also how China decides to fight. There isn't really anything u can use to compare, time has change, so does warfare too. We haven't seen how the modern chinese army fight before. Could be suprising or absolitely chaotic. Maybe Taiwan will be overly swamped with drones. who knows

As a chinese asian I dont see any reason why China would just want to invade Taiwan.There are alot of Taiwaneses doing businesses opening up factories all over China.I take this as phycological war not a physical war.

타이완 은 중공이 땅도 넓고 인구도 많으니 대륙방향으로 적당히 갈겨대도 큰 효과를 볼수 있겠네요..
공산당 군대 의 약점은 숫자만 만지 실제 교전에는 효과적 이지 못하죠...특히 강력한 군대를 만나면 처음엔 군대 같아 보이지만 결국은 꼬리를 내리죠

Well, China might think it would be relatively easy. But Russia thought the same thing in Ukraine and that turned into a fiasco..

China will not attempt to invade Taiwan. An invasion force would have to be many times larger than the D-Day Normandy Invasion. Taiwan is very well defended against invasion, with a modern 2 million-man army trained to defend against invasion. China would need a 6 million man invasion force (3-1) and require amphibious landing ships and landing craft and supply ships that China does not have and would require many years to build (US navy reports).

Washington and the US Navy want people to believe China is going to invade Taiwan.

Depends on one thing. How fervent are the people of taiwan in keeping independence compared to how badly china wants it back? Keep in mind that occupation, integration, and domination are three completely different goals. China could easily dominate taiwan that is obvious, what is a question is occupation and integration. Look at russia, destroying a city from afar? Easy. Occupying it? Not so much.

China has a massive military, however like Russia they have not fought a modern conflict in decades, if at all.
