These children are not trying to do anything except survive. I was scared to ask for food from my dad's girlfriend. Why would anyone ask "why foster kids lie and steal"? are you not noticing that a child's home has been taken from them. Or the home they were taken from was extremely difficult or they were taken from a loving home by someone who wants to destroy a family? I was in foster care. I was treated like I had to make the adults around me happy. A foster child's life is just a huge insecurity, many foster homes are scary, being with no one is horrible. I'm an adult and it still affects me.
