Brilliant!!! Thank you so much. I never knew they hid the option to build sites under the open selection. I was going crazy because all of the tutorials I were watching, none of the code on my files were colored the same way. Thanks so much!

The question is how I can add c# code to the html? Is not necessary the aspx to add code? Because it needs the runat server no?

You didn't connect your CSS sheet into HTML page, so once you started your html page, your css was not rendered, thus not having lightblue background, nor centered text, but other than that good video

Thank You. I was getting so frustrated that I was ready to punch something.

I didn't want a node project, or a react project, or a vue project, etc. I just want a simple html, javascript, and css project. Why no option for that? I'd tried starting an empty node project and kept getting "Hello World" from who knows where when I tried viewing my index.html file. I was getting really frustrated, but then I found your video and that little "continue without code" link. Thanks again.

Hello,

When I try to do the strp in min 2:46, it says "The web project HTML targets .NET framework, whoch is no longer supported..."

And then when I try to update the target to .NET framework 4.8 (recommended) it says "Error parsing the web configuration file at line 1. A document must contain exactly one root element."

How can I fix this?

Good video helping me switch from VS Code to Visual Studio. I wasn't seeing the right way to set up a static website.
