I lived in Conifer 7 years and loved it. Pretty little town with amazing views and an easy commute to Denver. Lots of snow though. I moved back to Denver when I got too old for the regular chore of shoveling 2 feet of snow at a time.

Idaho springs has a high crime rate and is very run down and trashy. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone
