We regret moving to Colorado because there is too much to do!!

We moved to Colorado about two years ago to be around our family and explore the western United States.

Our first road trip together was in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and surrounding areas. We've had a love for the mountains and massive natural structures our whole lives. We even got married in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina!

Since moving we have explored Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and the Rocky Mountains.

It's a dream come true to live in and near such beautiful places.

I grew up living in a high crime inner city of a rust belt state. We regularly heard gun fire at night. I dreamed of living on a mountain in Colorado. Now it's 35 years later and I'm retired and living on the top of a mountain next to Pikes Peak in Colorado. I can't believe that it all worked out. I've been incredibly fortunate, although I also worked my ass off and went to school at nights and on weekends to achieve my dreams.

What it’s like moving to Colorado with lots of money

Colorado was beautiful now it's overcrowded with people who want it to be like the state they left, why??? There was a time I could just drive to a camp site with no reservations need it. Used to be able to find quiet spots in the mountains without having to go spots that are deep in back woods. Used to be able to use a restroom without codes and keys. Hopefully, with more state legalizing cannabis it will send some of these people who don't care about the state and just here for cannabis and money. Colorado needs to go back to being "cow town" haha.

I was born in Denver, then moved to Highlands Ranch when I was 8 and lived there until I was 25. Then I moved to Austin, TX with some friends, spent about a decade there and now I've been in Lubbock for about a decade. I miss Colorado with all my heart, it's the greatest place on Earth. When my son is old enough and out on his own, I'm planning to move back. Go Avs!

I've visited about 14 states. I'm not American. Colorado is probably my favourite overall. I also love utah, arizona and North Carolina.

Been living in Colorado 12 years, only thing great about Colorado is the mountains. The plains area of the Denver metro area sucks, ugly plains landscape, over priced houses, high rent, alot of homeless, drug addicts, and alot of crime. #1 in the nation for car theft.

Some people here in Ohio have never even left this state! I've traveled and lived out west a few years. I have never felt so at peace in natures wonders. Idk how to describe it, but just being there and seeing all the mountains and beautiful nature every day was all new to me but strangely felt calming, like I was finally home.

The best decision I've made in my life is when I sold my house and moved away from Colorado in 1994, California people was moving in and changing the life of Colorado!!!

My aunt lives in grand lake colorado. We live in New Mexico. I never want to leave her house. Its so beautiful.

I live in Colorado and have for all but 2 years when I was little. I was born here and I love it here. Downtown Denver isn’t *great* but the mountains are beautiful. The most amusing thing is that when people from the Midwest or anywhere else in low altitude and humid climates come here they’re like, “I can’t breathe” and/or “it’s so dry here”! I love it here
