Judge Shuts Down Sovereign Citizen Script Quickly

Judge Clarke does not play games with sovereign citizens. This defendant didn't make it past the first bullet point in his notes before dropping it. Then the defendant doesn't do a bad job representing himself. Let's keep an eye on this guy and see what happens. Enjoy!

Now I can really relate to a Judge who calls out the shenanigans right from the start. He allowed the Defendant to move forward in representing himself, but gave him fair warning about what to expect if he veers off course.

I mean, he was in the military, where they have training before they can fight anything. Surely he understands that lawyers also require training before they can fight in the law? I mean, wouldn't he laugh at a life-long attorney deciding to step into the middle of a military operation with no training?

This is how it's done. If you don't understand simple things like the potential punishment of the charges you're charged with, how could you possibly be competent to defend yourself?

You don't need any kind of law training to understand that "If you're found guilty in these charges you risk getting X years in prison"
A child could comprehend that.

I think, if you want to be sovereign, the first thing you want to give up is disability, SSI, food stamps or any of that sort of thing. Then have a go at giving up drivers licenses, citizenship and following rules. It still won't work, but at least it's consistent and honest. Wanting benefits, but also to be released from responsibilities to society is just plain hypocritical.
