If you select the video and audio track and select "Sync Audio" in the middle bar it'll do all that for you. Then you may not even have to cut out the middle audio and can just reduce its volume or use it as a back-up track.

hi you should be able to just click or drag the little arrow to where you want to cut and press cut or use right click hope that helps

Just zoom the timeline, and then you can even move frame by frame. Enough to sync perfectly

Hi, do you know, if it is possible to align thousands of pics, which are
only 0.3 seconds long to thousands of markers in a long audio track
automatically ?
Say I have a music track with beat detection and 2000 markers, how do I align 2000 pictures automatically to these marker points ? To do it all manually would be a real pain... Is there any trick how to do this ?

After the video is linked with new (external) audio, how can you trim video and audio keeping them synched? the tabs to trim no longer are available.

I would like to see how you sync multiple audio tracks from different recorders. I have a Tascam DR40 which allows dual channel recording. My second track would be 6-10db lower than the primary track.

After you Linked Audio and video ... How can i work with both together ? If i cut my video the audio is separate .. so i have to cut my audio separate

Simply highlight both audio and video tracks and push the" sync audio" button. Way easier.

What if you the audio is gameplay. Meaning you want to hear the game / record. You can't just seperate audio from gameplay now. SO if I was recording in audacity is it the same rule? How can I get a clap in or another marker is what I am saying. Need help linking gameplay recording sound with a seperate recording from say Audacity file.
