The clapper is better than claps cause in the audio graphs and file it’s very explicit and fast so it’s even better to sync more accurately while a clap have a longer attack so it’s slightly less accurate to sync!

So prefer anything that is similar to clapper that the sound is fast!

And only use the audio you need instead of using both to not experience any phasing. If external audio have unexpected noise from your hoodie, you might be able to salvage that from cam audio. EQ to match.
