AP Computer Science A
Unit 1: Using Objects and Methods
Lesson 5 – Creating and Storing Objects

Welcome! I'm Goldie, from Goldie's Math Emporium.

In this lesson, students will explore how objects are created using constructors. They will learn the basics of object-oriented programming (OOP), including how data is stored in objects and how behavior is defined through methods. The lesson will focus on the structure of an object-creating class, the use of instance variables, and the difference between default and parameter constructors. Students will also practice creating objects from a class using the new keyword in a main method.
