Welcome! I'm Goldie, from Goldie's Math Emporium.

In this lesson, students will explore how Java handles integer values and conversions between int and double types. They'll learn about the limits of integer storage and what happens when values go beyond those limits (overflow). Students will also practice casting variables from one type to another and discover how Java treats widening and narrowing conversions. Finally, students will learn a simple trick for rounding decimal values using casting and arithmetic.
