"I took care of my children when I had to". Yikes, I wouldn't want to hear my parent say it like that!

What a great story for a change! Dolores is a smart woman and you can tell that because she was able to step back and see the change, recognize that her anger was misplaced. I think this is one hoarder that will maintain her place.

I'm glad they stayed consistent and I'm sooo glad she had that realization moment that she really didn't need that stuff as soon as she walked into the living room. That first sigh of relief that burden was lifted off her shoulders so she could breathe again. That's motivation too😊

What a great family! And under all that stress and resentment was a forgiveness and a sense of humor. Good job!

The entitlement. If this was my grandmother, I’d have given up long ago.

I like that she knew she had a right to be irritated, but also knew that it doesn’t mean they aren’t going to keep going. I love that, yes you’re entitled to your emotions, you are NOT entitled to others changing what they’re doing because you had an emotion. Helped things to go well and she’s VERY calm compared to some other people we’ve seen on here for sure

Of course some important things are going to be thrown out by accident with such a massive hoard. She was delighted in the end.

It’s about her safety! You need to be firm! They have been too nice and accommodating already with unsafe conditions! 😊

Nope. As soon as she expressed that she hated her children, I lost all sympathy for her.
Also if you don’t like something, why tf was it in your house

At least these are nice antiques and not trash and cockroaches everything in the house can be sold by an antique consignment shop, I think she also has a nice vintage house that in the end is a beautiful place and was decorated brilliant.

This one gives me hope where others have just caused me to fear for the hoarder. She seemed to recognize the value of the change in her home and was determined to not go back to hoarding.

Delores had a beautiful home once the cleanup was done. It was nice of her family & the cleaners to be so patient with her.
