#cities in North America are infamously known for their huge #roads with multiple lanes dedicated to #cars

But, there's a good way to transform them into #effective #transit infrastructure. The implementation is also easy, cheap and efficient; as it utilizes the existing network and road designs. One of the great examples is building or converting the lanes into queue-jump lanes, allowing the #bus to speed through a junction with minimized wait times.

Turns out, having wide #stroads in your city isn't an inherently bad thing. It does provide opportunities 🤔
