I had a fall 4 years ago and tore a ligament on my knee that didnt require surgery but after my fall i didnt get physical therapy because everything shut down because of Covid. Im on my 4th week of getting the prp shot and i have bad bursitis even hurt when i had a bowel movement but after the injection i felt a difference even after the first week no more pain going to the bathroom and everyday getting better yesterday i was able to walk in a store and have minimal pain at night where as before i never got a good nights sleep because of pain. Im trying to be patient in my progress but im wondering if you advise to do PT at my point of healing or wait til im pain free and if the first injection doesn't take away all my pain if i should get a second one and when ? Also whats your protocol of movement after a shot ? I was cooking still after the first injection my family doesnt like to cook but i rested in between cookin .My ortho doctor gave me two cortisone and the one plasma injection not using ultrasound maybe thats why the first two injections didnt take

Hello – I was diagnosed 20 years ago with Lymphoma Follicular.
11 years ago, I had chemo treatment (RCHOP).
Since than the disease is in remission.
My PLT in blood test Aug 2023 is 158.
Is this a limitation for getting PRP injection (hip pain in the last 4 years ago).

HI DR MICHAEL watching your video about Hip join injection using Ultrasound Guided accuracy, and I think is the way to go FOR ME, I am 78 year old and these is my contrition Pelvic x-rays 2There is severe osteoarthritis of the right femoroacetabular joint and mild to moderate osteoarthritis of the left femoroacetabular joint. Do you know a DR in Puerto Rico that is train in injection using Ultrasound Guided accuracy. Please help Thank you

I had prp /Hyaluronic acid injection in my knee had no effect on me .
