Platelet-Rich Plasma - PRP Injection In Knee for Knee Pain & Arthritis

Показать описание
An injection of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in the knee can have many benefits after a knee injury or if you are dealing with arthritis. PRP helps to accelerate healing along with Hyaluronic Acid (HA) to produce more lubrication naturally. They also provide anti-inflammatory properties & powerful pain relief that can help you recover from your injury faster or make dealing with arthritis less painful.

The broad field of pain-relieving anabolic injections focuses on stimulating your body’s own internal pharmacy to improve the site of your injury in the following ways:
- accelerating the healing process
- shutting down inflammation
- limiting scar formation
- recruiting the body’s stem-cell-derived self-repair cells to regenerate damaged tissue

At The Stone Clinic, we combine PRP with HA to create a broadly stimulating "cocktail" to induce a healing response in both non-operative and post-operative patients.

I did plasma for my knees, I have a little roughness
My weight is approximately 68 lbs. Do I need to walk lightly every day and do knee exercises?
Is walking and exercises beneficial or harmful to the knee?
Should I continue taking nutritional supplements for the knee?
Please let me know and thank you

Why should a plasma injection be more effective than a total blood injection? Blood already contains all the desired components. Hence, where there is blood flow, there is also growth factor, proteins and whatnot. Can you provide interventional studies that prove the effectiveness of PRP treatment?

I wanted to ask when I can expect visible results from PRP therapy on my knee. I'm 3 weeks in and I'm not seeing much improvement. Is there a specific amount of time after which I should see improvement or does it vary for each person?
Thank you for giving me this information."

Thanks Dr. Stone. Excellent video. Combining PRP with HA seems like a great solution (no pun intended). By the way, a friend just mentioned another treatment- Intra-articular gold induced cytokine (GOLDIC®) injection therapy in patients with osteoarthritis of knee joint, can you share any thoughts on this procedure?

I have 1 question i get prp therapy januar 29, but i do rehabilitation sports for my shoulder, should i wait to the finish of the rehabilitation sports or can i get prp while ime doing light sports for shoulder?

Because i read u should do not put any strain on the joint to get the full potential off the healing process.

Is it better when i finished my rehabilitation sport or can i get it while doing it?

Great video. About how long is the average time one can expect to begin feeling the benefits of a prp injection to the knee?

Those types of injections regardless of if it's HA or PRP should be done with Ultrasound guidance. The fact that your video did not show that gives me huge doubts about the quality of what you're doing.
