1:32 the lower reticle allows you to have more visibility of the vertical space above you, this is the console default. This setting just makes the “center of your screen visually lower.”
Making it center you lose that vertical space visibility advantage.

I’ve been consistently wanting reticle centering for Destiny 2 console since the PC version first launched. I just never liked the lowered reticle and I honestly think it’s because I grew up playing a lot of Call of Duty.

Bro is actually suggesting a center reticle despite the fact that your gun blocks more of your screen and you see roughly 20% less of the space above you in a game where enemies are just as likely to be above you as on ground level.

And sure, you see 20% more of the space below you with a center reticle, but the majority of the time you are playing, all you are seeing is 20% more ground, and if you have space beneath you to look at you will already likely be looking down towards it.

And while I'll admit on M&K it can be a bit more intuitive to point the center of the screen where you want to click. But on controller? Nah, your reticle should be head level even when lowered.
