I bought turkey on sale, after Thanksgiving. No room in the freezer, for 2 frozen 22 1/2# turkeys. So today, I raw pack the meat I cut off the bones

So glad you are doing raw pack canning without adding broth. I have watched so many videos and everyone adds broth. I can raw chicken without adding broth and didn’t know if I could do turkey without broth because it seems to be dryer than chicken meat. Thank you so much for showing that it can be done.

Meat is my favorite thing to can Barb & I learned it from you. So envious of your All American canner but my Presto keeps plugging along! So happy to see you back doing canning videos!

I've got three turkeys still in the freezer from Thanksgiving and I wanted to make room for this year's bounty. Thanks for the lesson

The way you explained these remind me of my grandmother and how she would teach me things. Fun fact she was also a nurse and very old about clean hands and clean everything

I just did turkey for the first time. I didn't add the whole 1/2 teaspoon of salt and still thought it was too salty. I also found that I didn't get as many jars as I thought. LOL

Great instructions, thank you for the tip about not putting additional broth in the jar. Live and learn 😊
You are a very good teacher!

I was checking out the raw pack turkey on youtube and there you were! Lovely video and I am looking so forward to canning up a nice 22 pound turkey I have in the freezer. When they go on sale easter time what a better way to preserve for future. My pantry is getting extremely full off all sorts of goodies... I have an addiction to pressure canning. I wish for more people to do it. It truly is safe just follow the instructions. Thank you again. Look forward to watching more video. Happy Canning. Cheers Vancouver Canada

Probably the best video I've seen yet that hits all the points needed. I just purchased an All American 921 recently. I've seen so many swinging those jars around coming out of the canner like a ride at the some don't seal I wonder why not. You did a great job explaining all the points....thanks.

Thanks for this. I have never been able to watch anyone can meat. Only problem is my mouth is watering and I am hungry!

Love this! I just froze some turkey recently, but would like to try canning meat. I already can veggies, fruit, pickles- so I am looking forward to adding to the pantry with meat. I am interested how you use the finished product in recipes. Thank you!
