How to Use the New Screencastify

Screencasting is an incredibly valuable skill for teachers. Just think of all the applications!

*Can't be at school tomorrow? Talk directly to your students with a Screencast & avoid writing lengthy sub plans!

*Need to give directions you know students are not going to remember later? Make a screencast; they can watch it as many times as they want.

*How about recording your lesson so that students can stop, rewind, and replay to make sure they understand everything?

Thank-you for your tutorial! It seems critical to ensure I do that last step, changing my video so that those with the link can view / access it. Is there a way to 'test' that the link works from another account on my computer?

Thanks for the tutorial Amy. Would you please help me with two things: 1. My sound is hit or miss, sometimes I have it on the recording, mostly not. 2. The recording and saving takes ages (I tried it with a 2 hr long film, took same time to save), much longer than downloading a youtube film. Many thanks in advance.
