My guess: The lenovo mobo died, and they replaced it with a proprietary HP one, requiring a different I/O since the connectors are different. They probably combined the RAM from both the HP and Lenovo PCs, and it's missing the I/O shield because HP I/O shields are built into their cases.

I bought one for 300 same specs but 32 gigs of ram it runs most games at moderate and ultra settings Between 40 to 60 fps .

I owned one of those m53 lenovos, the front io runs off a pcie cable that's why it's prob not hooked up to a new mobo or it got spray painted to death.

I did buy a 50 € pc, and the specs are: gtx 1060 ti, 16 gigs ddr3 and intel i5-4670K

I mean the spray job is nice but you could get a lot better for $220 like a 1060 6GB with a better psu instead of the 1050 ti. The RAM mix up is kinda gross though that just seems like that would cause headaches and might hinder performance instead of just having a matching 2 x 8Gb kit. 6th gen i5 isn’t bad but it is from the dark ages where 4th to 8th gen are pretty much the same. The front io is like that cause of some dumb proprietary connector from the HP or Lenovo. But I think you could get a i7 of that gen for that kind of money too. My conclusion is that the spray paint cost more than the hardware.

i'd rather pay 220 for a properly done custom case .. Powder coating heat seald plastics sanded and dyed if white underneeth or a layer of uv red on a prepared case. i'd probly add some yellow fix up that top controle a bit delerte the orginal Front side IO or replace it with a new plate and proper modern io space.

however i do like the color. and the sape i'm a sucker for the old styles.

i would not use a rattlecan spray job for this.
