For anyone reading: this is entirely user error. they plugged a 5v strip into a 12v header. Takes a special kind of special to do that, but then to upload it and say it’s a manufacturer’s fault is even worse🤦‍♂️

It looks like you’re running too much current into it, I suggest you buy one of those step-down converters to convert 12V into 5V.

The case doesn’t make stuff burn up. If you connect incorrect voltages to your equipment then this happens and the most common cause of that is people mixing modular cables from different PSUs

Prolly tried converting 5v to 12v, they wouldn’t do this even other brands wouldn’t, you can’t really put out a shit opinion on them if it’s on your end
