B18 Swap Parts List and Guide || Engine Swap Parts List is compiled to help anyone with a Civic engine swap or and honda engine swap that they are looking to complete. I'm not drag racing, but I will say this thing rips due to being lightweight and Honda should have put the B18 swap into all honda civic hatchback of this era. Truly changes the whole character of the car and the fitment is spot on.
"Project Civic" Parts listed below w/ option numbers. This applies for B18C, B16a, B16B, B18a, B20, etc
Time to run through all of the parts I used to swap a OBDIIa B18C engine from an Acura Integra GSR into a OBDIIa Civic DX hatchback.

This guide was hopefully thorough enough for all performing a civic swap with an OBD2 start. I am planning to create the honda engine swap guide for other Honda civic chassis and OBD1, 2 cars. The wiring is really all that changes. To complete this build, the honda civic swap cost is actually very low for anyone looking for a fun budget civic project car.

Hey I just remembered that your videos really helped me out with my GSR swap. Your videos were the most well put together in regards to the B18C swap. Thanks to your videos and some really well written forum write ups, I was able to start up on the first crank. The only CEL was there for not having the first o2 sensor plugged in...the exhaust manifold on the 94-99 GSRs are too short and the flanges are postioned differently. Anyways, thanks again!

yeah i was debating to engine swap my car too but i was like forget it ecu getting vtec chipped or getting a s2000 hondata t brakets and all these other things i rather just throw some arp head studs ungraded cams and turbo the car clean the engine grime and have a turbo exhaust adaptor to bolted on to my exhaust axle back and muffler

Ive got an LS swapped 97 civic EX and it runs good but the check engine light is on (which I'm not freaking out about) and I'm sure I did something wrong lol. Vtec wiring harness to non vtec motor. Lots of plugs left hanging..

Sorry so why do you need the d16 harness? I'm buying a package that includes the entire wiring loom for a b18c so i should just use that right ?

Im going wit a B18b1 in my 98 dx but it isn’t vtec and the dx obvio none vtec can i also use that harness or would have to just find the harness and I also have a ex harness fully un cut Lmk

Okay so, I’m planning to do a B18C2 Swap on my 1st gen CRX si(1985)… after some research I realize that OBD-1 was introduced to the us market in ‘92. Will this cause me trouble if I’m OBD-0 on my ECU?

I have a dc1 integra. (1.6L non VTEC), what exactly do i need? Or any tips? As obviously the chassis etc is the same as the dc2, so its just the Loom, ecu, mounts, and?..

Nice videos...Did you upgrade your fuel pump? I have the same setup but it seems like my stock fuel pump is not flowing enough fuel. I'm thinking of upgrading to 255 walbro fuel pump. Let me know ur opinion thanks

How can I bolt in the power steering pump? b18c1 going into 98 EX Civic. Have the gsr brackets, and pump, but the high pressure hose does not hook up. Thinking I need a ps pump from a 99 SI??
